Note: If you get an image that looks like the one below, then you accidentally generated the MIPmaps. Open up your stencil image in another window. Find the layer tool box and make a duplicate of the background layer right-click on the layer. You can name the new layer if you want, but it's not that important--we are merely making a temporary backup of the layer.
